Mission Statement and School Rule

Learning together as part of God’s family

At Good Shepherd, we will:

Follow the Catholic faith to become more like Jesus

Appreciate that we are all unique and celebrate our different talents

Inspire everyone to develop a love of learning

Treat others as we would like to be treated

Help everyone to become confident and resilient

Our school Mission Statement was created with the help of pupils, staff, governors and parents.

We have one School Rule of 'Be kind and respectful' which was developed by the School Council and the Chaplaincy Team.

At Good Shepherd, we expect children to set an example to others and regularly refer to both the Mission Statement and the School Rule.

Both the Mission Statement and the School Rule link closely with the concept of treating everyone fairly: Love one another. As I have loved you (John 13:34-35).
